I have much confusion over the issue of "lawlessness" meaning "the law" of the 10 commandments in exodus 20 OR the law meaning all the statutes and ordinances. The law having been written on our hearts (as believers of Yashua and temples of The Holy Spirit) really precludes us from practicing sin (not to say that we dont make mistakes). There are several scriptures stating we are released from the law. Two of which were here read (Galatians and 1 Cor. I think they were).
I think it's interesting that in Galatians 2:16 that we are saved by the faith (faithfulness) of Yeshua. His grace, his faithfulness not by are faith.
I know you are so very right. In my spirit,mind,soul,and my heart knowsq and feels this to be true. all that said I feel stuck. I had a conversion today with a friend, that said someone told him he's saved because he just believes . I told him it's much more than that,and that it does not work like that.we have to do the work. so here I am now hours later stuck in a pagan world doing pagan things.It's going to be hard not too do ,nor eat these things. i do not know if I can resist. I'm in serious trouble. everything that kills me I walk within the midst there of.such as bacon ,lobster,shrimpand espically bacon!!!did I mention BACON!!!! I'm not trying to be funny btw. I don't know if i can. there's also Xmas and the rest of the holidays.which I enjoy so very much,
As well I know I'm not going to be able to get my family and friends to stop these practices. I hope I'm not doomed.i espically knowing this valuable serious information……which I already knew btw..wasn't this the old testement before forgiveness from the Christ. I always thought the food part was because of the fact that we did not know how to correctly cook and prepare them at certain temps.
