The Essenes were very spiritual , aswell.very in tuned with the source of Power.
The Essenes are very excluded ,but I believe it's cause the pharasees and Sadducees didn't agree with them .because both pharasees and Sadducees were working with Rome .While the Essenes were studying the Divine and were gentle and still Torah based .
Yehshuah was also in the kumran caves studying with the Essenes.
