Since the enemy is powerful enough to lure us into sin, surely our all-powerful heavenly Father can keep us from sin
My question is if you've lied someone as a Christian (not a very good obviously), is it still good to tell them you lied them? I'm afraid this would make him look at the God I believe in with hate or something… I'm really struggling with this…
Thank you Pastor Doug. God has helped me overcome all kinds of sins, including a 20 year drug addiction. So I know the true power of God. I have a long way to go still, but I know it’s possible to overcome with Jesus. Just need to keep fasting and praying, and trusting in God. We can’t let the enemy discourage us!!
I think most people try and overcome sin on their own, and may also still cherish their sins. Like Pastor Doug said, we have to truly want to repent and stop sinning, and God will help us. We can’t stop sinning without Jesus. It’s impossible.
Thank you Pastor Doug for the message of Repentance
