This is a recording from the 27th in a series of weekly Bible studies I did back in 2012 – 2014 for our Virtual House Church website. I make no claims of being a pastor or learned Bible scholar. This is just a personal journey through the Scriptures that I shared with others and now wish to share with you. For more, go to: www.virtualhousechurch.com

I agree the ten commands were never abolished and i do not see anything in holy scripture that YESHUA said to state that they were???
Obviously a man made idea that they no longer apply.
The true teaching of YESHUA is rarely practiced. I see mostly paganized Christianity around me.
For whatever reason many years ago i saw how wrong observing christmas and easter was and have never since but unfortunately a majority of self proclaimed "Christians" still do and see nothing wrong with observing them?
They even go as far as to call me names because i don't observe them! WOW!
What Christian church observers the Passover?
note one key point Rob mentioned : pro·pi·ti·a·tion/prəˌpiSHēˈāSHən/nounthe action of propitiating or appeasing a god, spirit, or person.CHRISTS' OFFERING WAS AND IS A one time once for ALL SIN kinda deal.Again hope this helps.

A lot of people do not understand what the term "under the law" means. One is " under the law", only when one is guilty of breaking the law. The law has dominion over you , because you have broken it!
For instance, you are driving along… the law has no power over you because you are following the speed limits and traffic rules. But you decide to go faster than the speed limit…. you break the law, now the law has power over you, you have broken then the law, and they can stop you, ticket you, and give you a penalty for breaking the law. until that price is paid, the law has power over you, and you are under the law.
When Paul says we are no longer under the law but under grace, he is speaking of us no longer having to pay the penalty for breaking the law, it no longer has power over us, Yeshua paid the price for us, so even though we are guilty of breaking the law, it has no power over us, we are under grace. The penalty was lifted for us.
It does not mean we no longer have to keep the law 🙂 only that the penalty of the law no longer has power over us 🙂
