T H A N K Y O U FOR THAT MESSAGE !!! I worked most every day, from age 16 till I got hurt when a widow-maker fell out of a tree and messed my neck up while cutting my grass at 57. I still worked with it till the company I worked for introduced a new concrete & steel de-greaser caustic soap that gave me pulmonary fibrosis. They disabled me. I still try to do stuff. Too much work using an impact gun gave me Carpal Tunnel on both sides. Surgery surgery surgery. Then an old friend put me on a few prayer chains and the prayer warriors prayed the Pulmonary Fibrosis out of me, praise GOD !!! My hormonal imbalances give me HECK and there's days I just don't feel like doing ANYTHING, so I watch videos. I have always had more irons in the fire than I can work on. Some for years before I finish them. Give you an idea, I redesigned a security light, from low lumen florescent to 300 watt equivalent @ 41 watts actual , and it took 3 years to build and adapt all the parts to assemble it. I had Covid 3 times and double pneumonia once…I was too shaky to start a screw! for months. Finally I dug in and assembled two out of five lights.
After hearing the definition of SLUGGARD, too much of it hit home. I have several projects, for the church, that most of the pieces are already made, it's just finishing them. This sermon let me see I need to get on the ball and finish my projects already started and deliver them and spend a lot less time on my arse, watching videos !!! Just because I'm in my 70's doesn't mean to lay up and quit! THANK YOU, AGAIN for your sermon !!!
