I grew up watching top gear with my dad on bbc2. When they used to review cars and have a bit of ‘banter’ when it became some huge production with all this stunts etc got bored and never watched it again . Originally it was for proper petrol heads .
I love Top Gear, but I remember when they visited America and put up a totally and obviously manufactured portrayal of the south as totally homophobic and redneck. And this was their sophomoric and smug commentary on America.
