"6 literal days of creation"–It's cringe-worthy when intelligent and educated people say that. When rabbis read it as allegory, they are able to draw beautiful and meaningful lessons from it. When Christians read it as a science lesson, one can only gasp in embarrassment for them. The Creator writes the true creation story in the physical evidence of the earth and sky, unless you believe the Creator is a prankster and a deceiver.
