Sorry, but as someone who went to Adventist schools through high school, the world is far too old for a literal reading of Genesis. Just way far too old. The limestone, the chalk cliffs, the giant salt deposits companies mine, the banded iron formations, all our coal seams- those would all take too long for a 6000 year Earth and would take a lot more time than Noah's flood would allow.
