Wow. I have stumbled upon a trove of flat-earth believers. Dean did not prove a flat earth my references are here…
24:08 We aren’t flying through space: Sure we are, this argument does not account for the fact that all the other bodies mentioned are also moving. Here: if you are driving 75mph down a highway and the car on your left is driving 75mph and you look at them, you wouldn’t say that is evidence that you’re not moving. You know you’re moving…relative to the surface of the earth.
29:19 All maps are wrong. There is a reason that globe-model maps don’t work: it is impossible to accurately display a three-dimensional image on a two-dimensional plane. If the earth is flat, then a two-dimensional map should accurately represent the earth in both scale and visual accuracy. His admission that both sides don’t have a good map admits that there can’t be a two-dimensional model to base a map off of.
32:02 Nosing the plane down. This fails to treat the plane as attached to the earth, even while it is flying…the same way a thrown ball is. The earth has a gravity well that is pulling everything towards it; keeping us grounded. The plane is still being pulled back to earth but its lift/speed push that parabola out to be parallel to the surface making it feel flat to the pilot and appear flat to the earth-bound observer. 33:30 Greg does miss the point of sum-Mach vs supersonic flight.
34:53 Do you know how much curve is in 100 miles? Yes. If you are standing 6’ tall…1.1882 mi 6k ft. He said 100 sq mi though. So, assuming 10×10, that would mean a drop of 0.006 mi…basically flat. Let’s talk arc. A 100mi distance is 1.7 degrees…indistinguishable.
44:40 You don’t know it’s real. This one really bothers me. Our entire faith is built upon taking the word of others. With that logic, we should not believe in the resurrected Christ because we weren’t there, so we don’t know it’s real.

For the plane it is moving relative to the earth and for the stars the surface that we’re attached to rotates relative to them.

Also, the atmosphere and the missile are both locked into the earth’s gravity well…so relatively not rotating underneath the missile for the purpose of trajectory calculation.

1:50:51 Face. This is misleading because the bible doesn’t use the term “face.” That is an English translation of the Hebrew word (paneh), which is also translated as “surface” by other translations, including NASB95.
1:53:40 Collapsed firmament. This passage doesn’t say that their form wouldn’t change, just that creation cannot be destroyed. A place where scripture and science agree.
2:08:41 Like a tent. So a circle can only be flat but it can also be semispherical. It’s a whole sphere that is not biblical? And then “nothing” applies to things outside the “tent” as well?
2:19:23 Cornerstone. For a circle? What happened to literalism? The argument for literal-biblical reading of the text breaks down unless you assert that the earth is also a quadrangle (four corners of the earth).

At the END OF THE DAY…if you believe earth is round or flat (I am round🤷🏻♂️) it is IRRELEVANT.! This discussion has ZERO WEIGHT REGARDING SALVATION! So therefore it is RELEVANT. Lord Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH & THE LIFE! That is what MATTERS. If you care MORE about a flat earth or round earth then you are CONCERNED about the WRONG THING
Greg cannot prove his model biblically, which is why he diverts from the debate and speaks nonsense.
And how can you go straight into worship after you just insulted and kicked a guest out? Telling everyone who believes in the flat earth and is convinced about it, not to show up ever again?! This is exactly why I don't go to fellowship at church anymore. These, " pastors" claim these as their church?! And claim authority over their building and gatherings. It's all wrong. Jeremiah 10:21
