One of the most misunderstood prophecies in the entire Bible is that of the 70 week prophecy of Daniel 9. It has created so many of the false theologies and belief systems regarding the end times. There is no seven year period of tribulation!! Daniel chapter 12 tells us the time of the tribulation… The 70 week prophecy of Daniel 9 is speaking of Christ, his baptism, and his death. Also it's speaking of the 490 year period Israel was allotted before judgment came and the Spirit was taken from them, and as Jesus said "would be given to another bearing the fruits thereof". This is where we have spiritual Israel or God's Church of today.
