  1. I think if someone served their time, then they paid their dues and should not be punished for the rest of their lives. That's not right. I mean would you spank your kid every single day for doing something wrong. People can learn, and people CAN change. Especially when it's a case like Jelly Rolls, because he was just a kid. Your mind changes as you mature and start getting some since about you and are no longer an empty-headed kid. Foolishness is in the heart of a child and that's why they need parents and guidance. I am willing to bet that Jelly Roll and his boys were not really thinking to kill anyone, but only truly wanted to scare the hell out of them so that they could take what they wanted. Of course it wasn't right, but he paid his dues. He should be able to get out and buy a house and have some rights again. If by chance he screwed up again, then they would have the right to deal with him accordingly. In this world, it is easy to get caught up and sometimes not even know just how webbed up that you really are. Yeah, we've got some bad people in this world that are worse than Satan, but sometimes good people do bad things and just need to wake up.

  2. There is a way to go to court even in no forgiveness states. Trust me I've done it. Had a felony for 16 years and should be able to live life with that in the past. It took 2 years to get it expunged with help from a lawyer
