God, the wind has been blowing so hard for so long. How much longer must l stay curled up in a ball behind this large stone, seeking protection from the storm that swirls around me? I have watched the weeds bow and bend and still not break against the onslaught of the wind and the rain. God, I sense l must seek to bend and bow in the midst of the strong forces that pummel me. In bending, I will not break, and I will find new strength to endure until the morning light comes when you will help me to stand once again.
