Hi Adam You are so right regarding Yahuah's righteous rulings and I am so glad you brought up the example of what Saul was told to do by Samuel. I know there may be some that don't fully understand the whole story behind this account. If I may I would like to share with you some background regarding this that might help others that may wish to understand this and why.
The Origins of the Amalekites are the descendants of Amalek who was the grandson of Esau.
Descendants of Esau's first born son Eliphaz
which we can find at Genesis 36:15-16
15 These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.
They also inherited Esau's hostility towards Jacob (Isreal)
The account about the killing of all the men, women, children and animals told to Saul by Samuel found at 1 Samuel 15:1-3
1 Samuel 15:1-3 1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. 2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
Notice what it says in verse 2
To understand why, we see what was written about what Amelak did in Exodus 17:8-16 and Deuteronomy 25:17-19
Exodus 17:8-16 8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. 10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. 14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. 15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: 16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
Deuteronomy 25:17-19 17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt; 18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
We can see why this judgement had come and that God had remembered what was done by Amelek to his people and that is another reason why we see Samuel say the following words to king Agag
1 Samuel 15:33 3 3 And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.
We can see that Saul did wrong to disobey Yahuah in his judgement as we find in Judges 6:3-4 the Amalekites continued in their
destructive attack on Isreal.
Judges 6:3-4 3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; 4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
I hope this helps others to understand why God had instructed Saul to do this and why his Judgement's are righteous.
Adam, at 58:35 when you're talking about the revelation 12 sign and the symbology.. with the woman being clothed with the sun symbolizing the presence of the Most High emanating from New Jerusalem, the crown of 12 stars being the 144,000.. do you think the moon could represent the adversary (as kind of a false light) finally being placed under the feet of the bride and the bride no longer being subject to his dominion on earth? Do you have any insight on what the moon is about in this passage?
Every thing that the Most High Eloheim, YAH, say don't do, the enemy say, do!!!
