I believe in Jesus and I love God but modern Christian’s just make me so angry. So many are racist and sexist and use the Bible to “validate” that and try to use it to claim moral superiority.
And it hurts because it actively drives me away from God, because I begin to Doubt, because what good is being a non-white Christian when a majority of these people are whites who hate me?
Why would God allow a vocal group of hateful people alienate me from Him, and why does the church not admonish these people?
Instead the church goes to evangelize to people who don’t care or want to hear it, instead of fixing house first.
The fact that it’s a hot debate that JeSuS wAsNt A jEw He WaS wHiTe” speaks to the arrogance and ignorance of people who follow the religion as a vechicle for superiority instead of love and peace 😢
