It is interesting how nobody gets angry at us or calls us crazy or whatever for stopping at a red light. Aren't we obeying a law by stopping at that red light? Nobody persecutes us for not stealing or for not robbing a bank. Isn't that obeying the law? Nobody freaks out when we pay for an item purchased. We are obeying the law. All of those acts aren't weird, are they!?! By obeying His law/Torah/instructions, all that really means is that we no longer celebrate any of the pagan-rooted worldly holidays which is the worship of another "god". In ignorance, we once did this but now knowing better, and all praise to the Most High, we now keep HIS weekly 7th Day rest Sabbath and His Feasts and His Commandments. Two of His feasts last seven days long – uh hello! How is that so "weird"? We are still kind, generous, loving, compassionate, and patient. Hopefully even more than before. We still contribute to society. We still throw trash in the garbage. We just don't celebrate or acknowledge pagan traditions anymore. We know what to do if we borrow something from a friend/neighbor and it breaks while in our possession, thanks to His Torah. How on the face of this earth is that so horrible? I think the way the Torah is explained is key to getting people to understand.
