PROPHECY NEWS UPDATE – The Deadly Wound Continues To Heal
Three times in Revelation 13 it uses the word “wound” to describe what happened to the papacy/beast when they lost their political and spiritual power over the Christian world. Interesting, that the Catholics use the same term to describe what happened to the church when the Protestants broke away.
Most Reformation Christians used to believe the healing of the “deadly wound” meant the Catholic Church would regain political and spiritual influence on a global level. Political power was restored with the Lateran Treaty in 1929 once again making the Vatican and independent state that receives ambassadors from around the world. This is why the Pope is invited to address the United Nations.
No Pope has made more vigorous efforts to heal the spiritual wound between Protestants and Catholics than Francis. Since his papacy began in 2013 he has successfully worked to restore communion with Lutherans, Russian orthodox, Greek orthodox, Episcopalians, Pentecostals, evangelical leaders and even Mormons. Very well done! I felt like the devil attacked the Luthern church the hardest in hatred of the great reformer and the Reformation.
So that the mainstream Luthern churches have the form but are otherwise of dead faith. The gospel moved on to have other champions, proof, as the Reformer said: the gospel is like a summer shower. You must believe when it waters the land. For it will pass on.
Pastor, Revelation 13 says "deadly wound" was taken place first and then 1260 years period later, but we teach the contrary. Should we defend our position or follow the scripture?
I always wondered how the deadly wound of the Antichrist papal Beast could be healed and the Image of the Beast (USA) would force a Mark of the Beast. The papacy seems to have little actual political power, BUT look at how crazy times are getting. The left is pushing pro-degeneracy and pro-crime and all sorts of nonsense that makes our lives less safe and miserable down our throats to the point where we cannot defend ourselves or we could go to prison. I have noticed that all the alt media on the Right is showcasing RCC priests leading sermons and prayers, brainwashing Evangelicals that we are on the same team. THIS is how the RCC gains political power by leading the reactionary Right. We all know once in political power that the RCC persecutes non catholic Christians more than any others. Buckle up because all this political insanity lately is by design to usher in "Make America "Christian" Again, which SHOULD be a good thing, BUT it won't be Bible based Christianity, it will be the RCC papacy back in control speaking like a dragon.
