The only thing I didn’t hear them touch on which is one key difference between black/white/Asian/Hispanic…..I bet Ben Shapiro whether he grew up in a horrible neighborhood, whether he grew up poor, whether he grew up in a Jewish neighborhood it doesn’t matter where or how he grew up…..I bet he was never pulled over or racially profiled it terms of breaking the “law” like a black or Latino kid would have been….and just having that weight on your shoulders as a kid/teenager/adult makes all the difference.
My dad is a heavy smoker, my grandpa is an alcoholic. I never touched a cigarette or as much as a beer. Ben is right, the only way to break the cycle is through individual will.
