9 volt brain hahahahhah
Interesting. I did the test (looking up at the ceiling etc) and it confirmed that I am not susceptible to hypnosis.
Many years ago I took part in a scientific research programme into hypnosis. I was told they needed volunteers and I jumped at the chance. I was thrilled at the idea of finding out what being hypnotized felt like.
The tests were conducted by hypnotherapists, psychologists and other specialists. I was comfortably installed in an armchair and told to focus on a silvery object on the mantepiece of the room I was in. The long inductions started, and each one failed. They tried various approaches, for instance saying softly "your arm is feeling heavy… so heavy you can't lift it". I responded by waving my arms around.
It went on for two one-hour sessions.
In the end they told me I couldn't be hypnotised.
Dr. Huberman has enough knowledge of the mind that I would classify him as a wizard.
The line that Joe says of "I'm not always aware of people bullshitting me, but I'm aware a lot." Is one of the most honest lies a person can say after correcting themselves. This is literally something a narcissist can't say or do as a response to someone even in private but especially not in public.
A hypnotist came to do a show at a middle school assembly when I was 12 and some of us were chosen at random.
After a few seconds of looking he sent me back into the crowd because he said I couldn't be hypnotized.
About a dozen years later, a few buddies and I went to a comedy show featuring a hypnotist.
Volunteered from the crowd. He did his schtick for a little bit, nothing, Sent me back to my seat,
I asked him later and he said he could tell pretty quickly that I couldn't be put under.
A few years after that, a friend introduced me to a hypnotherapist at a party.
I asked if he thought he could put me under, suspecting that he probably couldn't.
I barely finished asking the question and he told me he already could tell I wasn't hypnotizable.
It's nice to finally know what these guys were actually looking for.
BTW, if the mind control aliens attack, I'll do what I can. But I can't promise I'll be able to save everyone…
