While it might fit in a Walmart that would only be the super energetic waste not including the waste of various levels of contamination. Considering in some cases like Plutonium it only takes a piece smaller than a grain of salt to be breathed in to be eventually terminal and it essentially will stay that dangerous forever. Waste is dangerous enough that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s conditions for a site is low groundwater content, which has been stable for at least tens of thousands of years, and geological stability, over millions of years. These materials stay lethal floor 100,000 to 500,000 years. For those who think the earth is only 6000 years old that 100,000 times longer than you think the planet has been here.
