the false prophet is not apostate protestantism. the false prophet exercises the power of the first beast and causes the world to worship the antichrist and they both(Rev 19:20) are cast alive into the lake of fire when Jesus returns. what should interest us is that the first beast continued 42 months(Ezek 4:6) which is 1260 days, a day for a yr, aka 1260 yrs(Rev 13:5-7) and when the false prophet causes the world to worship the beast whose deadly wound was healed(Rev 13:12) this period of time is also 42 months(Rev 11:7-15) a day for a year.(Sukkot 2022 – Passover 2026) kings and kingdoms are used synonymously in the Bible so if the second beast has the power to cause the world to do anything the false prophet is clearly the king of the second beast.
