Pastor Doug, Job’s sufferings were “a few weeks??”, he lost all his children! That is a lifetime of unbearable pain, I know because I lost my child, so please don’t ever suggest his pain was temporary, and no matter how blessed he was in the end, no amount of blessings make up for that kind of loss, only the blessing of heaven.
So no, I’d never choose to be Job, and neither would you if you knew this kind of pain.
