I don't agree with using tech like this and there's no way I would willingly take something like that, but to be fair, the word compliance is used all the time in medical and psychology fields in terms of a patient's treatment. So it isn't as nefarious as it sounds on its face. That being said, I think tech like this could, and likely would – if they thought they could get away with it, be used and abused for nefarious purposes. And on this side of the pandemic, compliance is definitely a trigger word none of us like the sound of or want to hear – especially from anyone involved in pharmaceuticals.
