Go ahead and implant your misguided interpretations of what scripture actually says. Read what it says not what you think it says. Do you ever hear of the city called Petros it’s a mountain a giant rock whithin which a city was built into it. It is not a pebble, a stone, or anything you csn throw. It is a huge rock, and by the way, Simon Peter was also known as Keefus Cephis. Which also means Rock. Problem is if you believe the statement in the Bible, then you have to recognize Peter as the first pope of many in a line and you cannot do that because you would have to become Catholic and you don’t want to do that. You want to continue to work as a disciple of Satan. And that is because over the past 2000 years Satan has tried to destroy the Catholic Church just as you do. Want to be a Christian preach the gospel as it is in the Bible Word for Word not as what you think it is.

Peter was appointed first as a human leader of the church. The term "pope' had not been used at that time
MR Doug. I am not a preacher but l had no problem understanding the fact that God is organised. GOD created just one man and one woman. He could have created 100 pairs. Indeed Jesus would have started his church with his 12 disciples under the leadership of one man, Peter.
You can deny and deny. I am no longer a practicing Catholic but l fully respect the contribution of the Catholic Church to the Christian faith.
Without the Catholic Church you wouldn't have the bible you now use to criticise her.
Doug with all respect Jesus was rebuking the demon in Peter. He never called Peter the devil. You are being dishonest
