The reason preppers are labeled as conspiracy theorist is because Democrats and Leftists never like people that want to be self-sufficient. It's really that simple. Look at any group that strives for self-reliance. Small Business owner, prepper, homesteader you name it! You're self reliance is a threat to Leftists!
Well when the world goes to sh*t, people will be begging for those "crazy people" for help
In the process myself, canned food, water, dog food, etc.
Preppers are smart but it's only going to take you so far. Being able to hunt, garden/preserve and purify your own water would be just common sense if you could do it.
