  1. I'd like to share my insights concerning a few topics here.
Concerning the 4 horsemen; you all are just touching some of the peripherals to some degree but have failed to realize the main significance, though coming close. John saw these "in the vision" or "in the spirit". Most of the time images seen in visions and dreams are symbolic and not an actual physical character. From this we need to identify the symbolic meaning which is typically found in scripture. I wish to submit that each horseman is a representation of a spiritual principality (we wrestle not against flesh and blood) that is imparting an inclination upon the world to "move" in a direction that results in the effects depicted by the vision. You can say that communism or islam, WWars, etc are those reflections but that's trying to pin a tail on a single donkey instead of the whole herd. Indeed trying to put a face on the horseman can be an interesting pursuit but as you admit by default there is nothing specific or concrete from scripture that requires us or even exhorts us to do so.

Concerning the 2 witnesses; I believe a similar predicament exists here but believe that Rob is very close to the truth on this in that it is related to the awakening and return to YHVH's Torah. More specifically in relation to the return of Ephraim. I agree about the purpose of the 2 witnesses being to realign YHVH's people with the truth and get them not only repentant but also on the same page. Consider that if there are multiple different pages that believers are on there is a need to unite them. Since we are seeing only 2 witnesses, there are 2 main groups that are not united up to that time. If you look even closer at the two witnesses as being the two olive trees … which two "houses" do those represent in context? The 2 sticks … the House of Israel (Ephraim and those grafted in) and the House of Judah (Joseph of the true vine). Now when we consider that currently these two houses are not united, one not accepting of the other and the other thinking they have replaced the former not realizing who they represent, have a need for a confirm-able prophetic witness for each house (so that each house might truly listen to that representative) to remove the scales from their eyes and reveal the truth of the 2 sticks coming together through the work of redemption on the cross … the "good news" that YHVH has made a way for the divorced bride to return … and to complete her through the union of the 2 houses (the 12 tribes mentioned for the twelve gates). The question remains as to who these 2 might be. I will submit that, as with the history of God's chosen leaders throughout all of scripture, God will raise up and anoint 12 as the heads of each tribe at some point and that 2 of them will be these witnesses. Consider that of Yeshua's first 12 disciples who He later sent as Apostles, there were 2 that were closer to Him than the rest. It is the pattern of 10 and 2 completing the 12 repeated through scripture.

I think it is insulting to YHVH to insist that the old bible hero's are the only choices available to YHVH for witnesses. I believe that as the final times of true revival come upon the earth that we will indeed see YHVH's hand move powerfully, just as he promised (the things I do, you will also do, and even greater) through those He raises up to lead and minister powerfully in His body.

Concerning the question about salvation and the 2nd resurrection in regards to what Doug replied, as Doug inferred righteousness has never been about simply accepting Yeshua, but rather becoming righteous through Him through faith. We are the spiritual seed of Abraham – who was never saved by Yeshua (outside of Melchizedek) – and are counted righteous by YHVH through obedience by faith just as Abraham and Yeshua both are. The main difference is with Yeshua in that He came "Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I have no commission except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." This is further emphasized when Yeshua commissioned the 12 apostles "Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out, and commanded them, saying, Do not go not into the area of the Gentiles, and do not enter into [any] city of the Samaritans: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand." It wasn't until after Yeshua's death and resurrection that the Lord gave Peter the vision of the unclean animals and sent him to a house of the gentiles where they received the Holy Spirit that we learned salvation was available to the gentiles … and Yeshua later called Saul of Tarsus and appointed him Apostle to the gentiles to teach that salvation was available to them likewise by faith to the "obedience" of Yeshua. It's all about righteousness by faith through obedience from the beginning.

Last comment: Fear is the OPPOSITE of faith! Peace!
