This is the short version of a longer video I will put up showing the results of my trip across Lake Michigan, wherein we saw Chicago the whole time for nearly 46 miles. This one just gives the highlights of the journey. In the longer video, I will explain more about the trip, the observations we had during it and my more recent conclusions based on the past year’s worth of research.

Experiment confirms curvature. Oh man these comments are why China is just going to walk right in. Just buy a hobby rocket with a camera and you can see the curved earth. Jesus I thought humans got passed this ignorance. Everyone realizes flat earth started as a joke right?
Hey great job proving the earth is round. Of course seeing the tops of buildings from the other side of the lake is not a mirage. Where is the bottom of the buildings though? Where are the shorter buildings that make up the skyline? Oh guess what, as you get closer to the city they start to appear, almost as if they weren't visible because the horizon was covering them.
The mirage in the original photo is a mirage because you can see MORE of the buildings then you are generally able to at that distance. Get wrecked by your own video lol

It’s not a mirage or optical allusion it’s just perspective!
Very strange that people think this is somehow evidence for a flat earth. Everybody knows light refracts towards the earth, so on a flat earth we would see the entire skyline higher up, and the closer you go, the lower it should appear.
But here we only see the very tops of those skyscrapers, and when approaching, less and less is obscured by the horizon.
This is actually good evidence for a globe. Just saying.
