Look, we can all agree that the Roman Catholic Church is “Mystery, Babylon The Great” (Revelation 17-18), but this does not mean that so called ‘Sunday Law’ is coming (because it’s not coming).
The sabbath is a covenant between God and the Jews (the physical descendants of Abraham). So unless you are a member of one of the 12 tribes of Israel (and not a Christian), then you don’t need to worry about the sabbath or which day(s) of the week you worship God on (see Colossians 2:16)
“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” – Exodus 31:16-17 KJV
The 4th commandment is the only one of the 10 commandments that is not repeated in the New Testament for Christians to follow. In fact, the early Christian church worshipped on Sunday (i.e. the first day of the week), not the Saturday sabbath. (This is because our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead on Sunday and the Christian church is no longer distinctly Jewish – it is made up of both born again Jews and Gentiles).
“And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.” – Acts 20:7 KJV
“Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.” – 1 Corinthians 16:2 KJV
The mark of the beast (when it does come) will be a literal mark that someone literally puts into their forehead or right hand in order to buy and sell (Revelation 13:16-17). It has nothing to do with which day(s) of the week someone worships God on. (By the time the mark of the beast does come all born again Christians will have been raptured out anyway – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
Please reconsider your faith Adventists. You must be born again (John 3:3) by trusting solely in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all your sins.

Keeping the Old Testament law does not save you. Christians are saved by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ alone!
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” – Romans 3:23-28 KJV
Why should this pastor be so concerned with Catholicism. He should worry about bringing SDAs to heaven, rather than talking about Catholic the one and true church established by Jesus Christ. Pastoralism is not about criticism but guiding souls to heaven.
If you worship the wrong God on the right day, will you be saved?? No. Study the so called Trinity teaching for YOURSELF! If Jesus is not the true, literal son, you have destroyed many important Bible verses about the Son and the Father and having eternal life. Do you wonder how the Israelites always managed to return to idolatry? It was deception. Satan is very good at deception. The Holy Spirit is God's spirit….NOT a 3rd god. It is not a 3 person's in 1 god. It is FATHER AND SON. I've even heart it said by SDA leaders that in time past, the '3' discussed WHO WOULD FULFILL WHICH ROLE. Where isthe distinction of Jesus as the son of God. It wasn't from having a meeting! Denying Jesus as Son of God and the Christ is the anti-christ.
Satyr-day (day of saturni) is the seventh day of the Gregorian calendar today. However, the early Roman Julian calendar, in use during Yahshua's time on earth, had an 8 day week, Satyr-day being the 1st day of the week, with Sunday (dies soli) being the 2nd day of the week. In 321AD, Constantine changed the calendar, based on his fixation and veneration of Mithraism (sun worship). At that time, he changed the calendar to a 7 day week, no more 8 days, and made Sunday the 1st day of the week, with Saturday now the 7th day of the week, in honor of their sun god. Bottom line, Saturday IS NOT Yahweh's Seventh Day Sabbath of the Bible!!! For the true 7th day of the week to be found, you have to use Yah's calendar in the Bible. Gen 1:14 – the moon (luni) and the sun (solar) mark time in general and more specifically, Yah's appointed times for worship, Moedim. Psalms 104:19 "He appointed the moon for seasons (Moedim, Yah's worship time according to HIS luni-solar calendar). Also, during Yahshua's time here, Israel used the Luni-solar calendar to mark time, not the 8 day week of the Julian calendar.
How is there going to be a death decree for sabbath-keepers if Pope Francis has officially come out AGAINST the death penalty and called for its abolition WORLDWIDE in his encyclical along with his opposition to the idea of life imprisonment without parole?
