Did you see the video of the Police Officer who hops out of A Uculyptus Tree N tries to arrest a Black Man who was armed to the teeth due to these situations n the man let out 15clips on the officer n the officer was eating them like Cranberries both men we're killed by a Palm Tree the impact of the tree was about 2300KG that's a hell of a way to go .
Police officers should just be paid more. Our financial distribution between industries is a f*cking crime some times. Police officers and teachers do not make much at all. Yet these lawyers make tens of thousands every few months. Public defenders don’t though. People who defend the impoverished. Though I am blessed and happy to be an American, f*ck this nonsense. And the people who are in positions to fix this and don’t, are POS. Love your neighbors also please.

I was raised by two El Paso PD officers and this makes so so so much sense to me. Before retirement my pops was a detective and my mom was a Sergeant. One an alcoholic and the other a Gambling addict. One day back in the late 80's my dad was responding to a traffic fatality where the driver lost control of her vehicle and was killed instantly after her car wrapped entirely around a metal pole under the I-10 freeway. He told me that after prying open the car's glovebox my dad found the insurance papers and realized his little sister was the driver. He said she was so badly mangled that he didn't even recognize her, he just saw her blonde hair… I don't think he ever recovered from that.
Very insightful interview. Gilmartin’s research and book are genius. 29+ years on the job. A seemingly simple family trip to Disneyland or crowded public venue isn’t enjoyable to any switched-on cop.
